Phakic-IOL (Phakick intraocular lens implantation)

This procedure is well suited for patients with high myopia (-12 dioptry) and high hipermetropia (+7 dioptry), or less dioptry with thin corneas where the laser treatment is not applicable. The patient's lens is removed and replaced with an acrylic lens or contact lens, which decreases patient's dioptry.
