Multifocal lens implantation: Multifocal intraocular lenses have been used in cataract and/or Refractive Lens Replacement (clear lens) surgeries, which enables both near- and fire-side vision at the same time.

This technique is quite successful in patients with big irises naturally and those without astigmatism.

Multifocal lenses have similar design with those used in cataract surgeries, only they have separate parts to enable near- and fire-side vision.
